Can't access cam/streaming error

This is caused by one of these issues:

  1. You have denied permission in your browser to access your webcam.
    (follow steps below to reset permissions)
    You haven't selected the correct microphone and/or camera. Another browser, tab, or application is using your microphone and/or camera.

    Reset permissions

  • Chrome (Desktop): Click the lock icon (left of address bar) > Site settings > Reset permissions.

  • Chrome (Android): Open the site, tap the menu (three dots) > info icon > Site settings > Reset permissions.

  • Microsoft Edge: Click the lock/info icon > Permissions for this site > Reset permissions.

  • Safari (Mac): Go to Safari > Settings > Websites to manage or remove site-specific permissions.

  • Firefox: Click the lock icon > Clear entry next to permission settings in the dropdown. 

  1. Does your cam work elsewhere? Let's check at: https://www.onlinemictest.com/webcam-test/
    If it doesn’t, you know it is a hardware issue that you will need to address.

More details: If you are using an older operating system such as Windows Vista or XP, these no longer have support from Microsoft or browser teams like Chrome and Firefox. Update your operating system to use chat.
