Men Chats v4 upcoming features

The following items are new features that are not yet available in the current version of the platform. Development of these features is ongoing, and the speed of implementation is dependent on community support.

Broadcaster Tools & Visibility

  • Viewer Awareness & Management: Allowing broadcasters to see a real-time list of their current viewers via a dedicated icon. This will include the ability to block specific users from a session directly from the viewer list.

  • Persistent Broadcasting: An update to allow broadcasters to keep their camera live while navigating away to view or respond to private messages.

  • Enhanced Webcam Controls: Integration of a full control suite for individual webcams, including end video, screen share, mute, and camera toggle. These controls will feature "auto-hide" functionality when the mouse is not active over the video.

Navigation & UI Improvements

  • Group Activity Indicators: The groups list will be updated to display the specific number of users currently online in each room.

  • Tooltip Labels: Implementation of descriptive text when hovering over icons (e.g., explaining an icon's function), similar to the current "Create Room" label on the "+" button.

  • Interface Adjustments: Addition of a dedicated "Close" button for the Files Panel/Storage area and a new button to increase or change global font sizes.

Messaging & Social Interaction

  • Refined Whisper System: The "/whisper" command will be updated to appear clearly before messages for both the sender and receiver. We are also exploring the use of the "#" symbol to trigger a pop-up menu for selecting usernames, similar to the "@" mention system.

  • Consistent User Menus: Standardizing the options (Message, Profile, Report, Block, Ignore, Mention, Whisper) so the menu is identical whether clicking a name in the chat room or the user list.

  • Emoji Placement Fix: Adjusting the emoji picker so that icons are inserted at the current cursor position rather than the beginning of the text field.

Profile Enhancements

  • Expanded Profiles: Support for larger profile photo dimensions to improve visual quality.

  • Age Display: The addition of an "Age" field to be displayed on user profile pages.
